The National Spanish Examinations are given voluntarily by over 3800 teachers throughout the United States to measure proficiency and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language. Vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and listening comprehension are all assessed.
Two Owen J Roberts High School students were awarded Premio de Bronce scoring from the 75th through the 84th percentiles nationally. Congratulations to Leah Curran and Anthony Maenza (pictured below).
Several other high school students received Mención Honorífica scoring from the 50th through the 74th percentiles nationally. Students in level 5 Spanish who were awarded honorable mention were Cassidy Hart and Tara Shimer.
Students in level 4 Spanish receiving mención honorifica were Caitlin McLaughlin, Emma Ruggiero, Katie Starliper, Holly Sullivan, Sarah Taylor, Alli Walker, and Jordan Sellers.
