William's Adventure in Black History

Students at West Vincent Elementary School had an opportunity to meet some of the most significant Black Americans in the last few hundred years!

In a fast-paced 45-minute adventure, William’s Adventure in Black History, led students through the remarkable people and events that have shaped 400 years of Black History in America. Nearly 20 historical figures and events unfold in this production; while audience volunteers join the actors on stage to do everything from help Mae Jemison travel into space to encourage Rosa Parks to forever change America by not giving up her seat. William’s Adventure in Black History is performed by Bright Star Touring Theatre.
