PMEA Choral Fest

Sixteen elementary students representing all five Owen J. Roberts elementary schools participated in the PMEA District Chorus Fest this past Friday, March 13, at Octorara Area High School. Chorus Fest is a one-day choral festival comprised of auditioned singers from all over the region.
Students had the opportunity to work with a guest conductor during the day learning some great music and having a lot of fun with new friends. The group of nearly 120 talented students then performed a concert in the evening.

Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) is an affiliate of the nearly 80,000 member National Association for Music Education (NAfME).  PMEA provides leadership in professional growth and offers special opportunities for musical development to school students. PMEA District 12 serves the music educators and students of Philadelphia, Delaware and Chester counties.
