Catch "Harvey" this Weekend!

The Fall Play Cast and Crew cordially invite you to attend
Mary Chase's HARVEY!

Tickets:  $5.00 and available from cast member or at the door

When Elwood P. Dowd (played by Christian Eagen) starts to introduce his imaginary friend, Harvey, a six-and-a-half-foot rabbit, to guests at a society party, his sister, Veta (played by Natalie Bartlett), has seen as much of his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate.  She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare her daughter, Myrtle Mae (played by Olivia Foden), and their family from future embarrassment.  Problems arise, however, when Veta herself is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy when she explains to doctors and the nurse (played by Manus Weber, Zach Moyer, and Reagan Flewelling) that years of living with Elwood's hallucination have caused her to see Harvey also!  The doctors commit Veta instead of Elwood, but when the truth comes out, the search for Elwood and his invisible companion is on with the help of Wilson (played by Tino Chigumira).  When he shows up at the sanitarium looking for his lost friend Harvey, it seems that the mild-mannered Elwood's delusion has had a strange influence on more than one of the doctors.  Only at the end does Veta realize that maybe Harvey isn't so bad after all.

Additional roles are portrayed by Darcy Harris, Lani Boyle, Carly Arthurs, Michael Lipkowitz, and Ryan Davis.  This year's Intermission Scene, written by OJR graduate Megan Bealer, will be performed by Christine Hoffman, Kaiden Roberts, Wyeth Cosperite, Victoria Rivkin, Cassady Myerson, Paige Cadieux-Petrie, Cassidy Niggeman, Michael Maher, Scott Tevis, Tierney Campbell, Tobius Ford, Nick Barone, Courtlynn Bliss, Amyln Savarese, Julia Amadio, Lily Buettler, Kaitlyn Seraphin, and Charlotte Lasak.

Narrators for the evening are Angeline Viti, Katie Sundermaier, Max Gallagher, Arielle Shakour, Kat Bobo, and Lucas Gray.

The show is directed by seniors Katie Hudick and Andrew Martin and junior Maya Greenholt.  Faculty Director is Mrs. Dawn Galambos.

Please join us for an evening of outstanding comedy!
