THON Sets $50+ Record

Mini-THON is a year-long, student-run philanthropy effort raising money to find a cure for pediatric cancer. The event is a twelve-hour dance marathon held in high schools across the country. A smaller version of Penn State University’s event, the mini-THON raises money to support the Four Diamonds Fund, an organization that provides financial support to families affected by pediatric cancer. The first year, the mini-THON at Owen J. Roberts High School raised $8, 571.25. Last year students raised $32,717! The event included hours of dancing, games, and other enjoyable activities.

Owen J. Roberts High School hosted mini-THON on February 27. The mini-THON is a no-sit, no-sleep marathon where students stand for those who cannot!

Students raised $50,568 at this year's event!!!!
