Read Across America Week

Students in Owen J. Roberts' seven schools celebrated a love of reading this week! The  8th Annual District Read-in allowed those of all ages to find their inner super reading power. Each school held special events to promote literacy throughout the week.

At East Vincent, Principal Bell reported, "Our Friday book selections illustrated the theme of COURAGE as part of the weeklong Read across America celebration.  This program “calls for every child, in every community, to celebrate reading on March 2nd, which is the birthday of the beloved children's author Dr. Seuss,” as well as throughout the week.
