Sophomore student government sponsored a fun family movie night for all five elementary school communities on March 31. Featuring a newly-released popular story of a young girl in ancient Polynesia who overcomes all odds to save her village, student government partnered with the Owen J. Roberts Wellness Council to support families by offering parent resources on raising resilient children. Admission to the movie was free. Students provided face painting. To raise money for the class, there was a concession stand and basket raffle with items donated by sophomore parents. More than 200 watched together as the heroine and hero navigated the oceans to save a village.
