Wrestling Team Unloads Bus

The Wrestling Team was up early on a Saturday morning to unload the bus full of Food Pantry donations

On Friday, October 27, a school bus donated by Gross Bus Service, made its way to all seven Owen J. Roberts schools as well as two office buildings and the bus lot grabbing lots of generous non-perishable foods to stock the Coventry Food Pantry which serves more than 100 families residing in the Owen J. Roberts School District.

Many, many people offered generous donations and assistance. The bus driver, Miss Cindy, has become and expert at packing a school bus full of food. Each school had staff and students who coordinated the food drive. NJROTC cadets did a lot of heavy lifting to pack the bus. The Wildcat Wrestling Team unloaded the bus at the Pantry on Saturday, October 28, making quick work of sorting and stocking the pantry shelves.

It was inspirational to see the entire Wildcat Community come together to support those in need. Thank you to all!
