All Pro Dads

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick

West Vincent Elementary School held the 40th All Pro Dad chapter meeting this morning drawing about 180 fathers with their children. The successful chapter has been facilitated by Mr. Mike Frederick.

Principal Edward Smith said, "We commonly refer to Mr. Mike Fredrick as “Big Mike” not just because of his 6’ 5” frame or as a former National Football League player, but because of the way he conducts himself as a father, husband, and community member."  Mr. Fredrick has been mentoring families for ten years at West Vincent Elementary School All Pro Dads.

Mr. Ed Smith, in conjunction with the WVES PTA, honored Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick for their dedication and service to the entire West Vincent Elementary School community presenting a framed letter and signed football from NFL Hall of Famer, Super Bowl winning coach and All Pro Dad national spokesperson, Tony Dungy.

Chapter meetings give dads a chance to connect with their children
All Pro Dad is one of the programs of the family-strengthening “Family First” which provides parenting, marriage, and relational truth that helps people love their families well.

Over the last ten years at West Vincent Elementary School, dads have gathered with their children, to support one another on tough topics and learn how to build strong, healthy families and become heroes on the field that matters most—the home.
