Prom Preparations go Beyond the Apparel

When you think of students preparing for prom, you may be considering gowns, tuxedos and flowers, but it is impressive to know how involved students are in making the evening special for all. Below are just a couple examples. We also don't want to fail to thank all the teachers and staff for chaperoning prom, which will take place on Saturday, April 27.
Students put design and engineering skills to use to create a glimpse of "Central Park"

Some decorations were die cut from foam board

After being cut, these "stones" were texturized and painted

A student constructs a boutenniere
Centerpieces, made in horticulture floral design, reflect the "Big Apple" theme

Student-created flowers are set for the "Royal Court"

Some students designed and created their own flowers to wear or carry

Prom Ready!
